How long should a static cup stay on?

Two to five minutes per spot in the first weeks, ideally with a timer. Longer increases the risk of blisters without adding effect. Experienced users can leave the cups for up to eight to ten minutes on neck and shoulders.

Do the static cups leave marks?

Yes, static cupping often leaves round marks that fade in two to ten days. They are not bruises in the usual sense and normally do not hurt. Reduce the suction and the time if you want to avoid them.

Can I place the static cups on my own back?

Shoulders, the sides of the neck and the lower back you can reach yourself; between the shoulder blades you may need help. Never place the cups directly on the spine or on the front of the neck.

Why do the cups feel sharp at first?
