Fatigue: when you feel drained and have no energy – the most common causes, when to get a blood test, and what actually brings energy back
Fatigue that doesn't lift after a weekend of sleep almost always has a cause that can be found: too little or poor sleep, long-term stress, iron deficiency, an underactive thyroid, sleep apnoea, low mood, a lingering infection, medication, or too little movement and daylight. Here is how to tell the causes apart, which blood tests are reasonable to ask for, a two-week checklist that is often enough to notice a difference, and how recovery and calm cupping are used to lower stress and sleep more deeply.
Learn moreDark circles under the eyes: the four types (pigment, vessels, shadow, puffiness) and how to tell which you have, causes (sleep, heredity, allergy, age, iron deficiency), what helps for each type, and lymphatic massage and face cupping around the eyes
You sleep eight hours and still look tired. Dark circles under the eyes are one of the most common skin concerns and one of the most misunderstood, because "dark circles" are at least four different things: brownish pigmentation in the skin, blue-violet vessels showing through thin skin, a shadow from a groove or bag when the light falls from above, and puffiness that deepens the shadow in the morning. They have different causes, and what helps one does nothing for another; that is why so many are disappointed by eye creams. Here is the test that shows which type you have (pull the skin sideways, look in daylight from above, compare morning and evening), the causes (sleep and sleep deprivation, heredity, allergy and rubbing, age and lost volume, iron deficiency, sun, screens), what actually helps for each type, what is wasted money, how to conceal them right, and how lymphatic massage and face cupping around the eyes reduce the puffiness and congestion that make the circles darker.
Learn moreSleep problems: causes, when to seek help and evening routines that actually work
Sleep problems are common and usually due to stress, irregular hours, screens and caffeine late, alcohol, pain or hormonal changes. Here are the causes, the warning signs a doctor should assess, what has the best evidence (circadian rhythm, sleep restriction, CBT-i), and an evening routine with breathing, heat and static cupping that helps the nervous system wind down.
Learn moreCupping during menopause: support for stress, sleep, swelling, stiffness and skin
Menopause affects sleep, stress, joints, skin and fluid balance. Cupping does not treat the hormones, but it can be a concrete daily routine for what you feel. Here is how, symptom by symptom.
